As much as I love my Manfrotto 3236 wildebeest of a tripod, I KNOW that big bertha won’t be allowed within 100yds of the airplane when we travel to San Francisco in a couple weeks. Soooo, I felt compelled to use this as an excuse to grab a new tripod that has that good old “travel-ability” benefit that my current Manfro lacks.

So, after much debate, between the Manfrotta <$125 range and a few odd name brands, I just wasn’t finding anything that really shined… or proved to be the best bang for the buck. But after stumbling across a mass of information on Slik, I couldnt help myself. So welcome to my collection “Slik Sprint Pro-II”

Fingers crossed this come in before the 18th.

Review will follow its delivery and San Fran vacation test run. Stay tuned
